Description

Make fruit flavors pop with LorAnn Oils Tart & Sour Flavor Booster. This concentrated flavor enhancer adds a bright, tangy zest to candies, baked goods and beverages and is designed to be used alongside other flavors. For hard candy, add Tart & Sour during the cooking process at the same time the flavoring is added. Use 1 teaspoon per 1 lb batch to enhance existing flavors, or increase to 1 tablespoon per 1 lb batch to create a distinctly sour flavor. Beyond hard candy, try it in candy centers, taffy, marzipan, jams, jellies, fruit toppings, slushies and powdered fruit drinks. It can also be combined with coarse sugar for topping fruit muffins or scones, or added to fruit pies and cakes for a subtle tangy finish.
